Come up and see me.
Visited at work by Carsten who is a composer these days. He brought news from the world of trying to survive as an artist. From his personal experiences, and conversations he had with other artists, one thing became quite clear: Even people who made a name for themselves can't make a living as an artist in Denmark. Instead we all reside in a bleak nether world of measly part time jobs, humiliating part time jobs, idiotic part time jobs - and the occasional sale of a CD or work of art.
The bottom line was that you can basically be two types of artist:
Working (with your art, that is)

The rest is unavoidable, but in fact, also unimportant.
