Read an article in my newspaper about outsider artist Henry Darger

Darger was an elderly recluse living in Chicago where he died 84 years old in 1973. He lived in orphanages from the age of eight but ran away in his late teens. He then settled in Chicago and worked as a janitor for the next fifty years. After his death the landlord cleared his room and discovered a 15.000 page "book" Darger had been working on since 1909.
The book was titled "The Story of the Vivian Girls, in What is known as the Realms of the Unreal, of the Glandeco-Angelinnian War Storm, Caused by the Child Slave Rebellion." and was filled with Darger's drawings and water colours, mainly depicting little girls with penises being attacked by dragons and demons set against backgrounds of great beauty.
