Childe Harold's Pilgrimage, 1823

Highlights of British Painting Week, pt. 3: J.M.W.Turner 1775-1851
Retro babe
Panzer Panther turrets in an abandoned factory in Germany 1945. Worn out panzers that didn't get destroyed in the fighting were sent to factories or workshops for overhaul. The average life of a Panzer at the front lines was three months and often worn out specimens beyond repair were simply blown up to save on resources.
