Women's international day of struggle today.

In Denmark this day was instituted in 1910 in Folket Hus (the people's house), Jagtvej 69.
in 1982, the unused building was taken over by squatters and became Ungdomshuset (a new and larger Folkets Hus had been erected on Vesterbro in 1956)

As you probably know by now the house was sold to the small Christian community Faderhuset who have now removed the building and plan to build a church there.

And If you want a peek into the mindset of self righteous protestant Denmark, check out the homepage of Faderhuset
