She was a substitute teacher at my school, we didn't see her that often, she was blond and pretty and she dressed more conservatively than the other female teachers (this was the seventies...)

she would wear a dark blue jacket, matching slacks and sometimes, a pearl necklace.

I liked that,
that smooth, shiny, dark blue fabric

that necklace, delicate, shiny, upper class.

I liked her,

but we didn't see her that often.
