....and I also went and saw the Jes Brinch show at the trendy Vesterbro Gallery V1 which offered MORE cartoony imagery, this time done in that resilient trademark of Phine Art: Marble...

Jes Brinch has been an enfant terible of the Danish Art scene for a number of years (nobody seems to want to take over that position...) making art that often attacks the sometimes complacent and conforming mentality of the Danish welfare state.

An early Ausf A on the eastern front. Early A's lacked the machinegun fitted on the front armour plate, instead a "pistol port" with an armoured cover was cut into the armour. This proved unsatisfying in the combat situations on the eastern front where both Soviet and German infantry would climb onto armoured vehicles to destroy them.
