Nazi art week, today with Hans Liska 1907-83
Liska wasn't a Nazi artist but drafted into the German Army's propaganda unit where he visited the frontlines and made some very dramatic and action packed illustrations which appeared in many publications, including the popular magazine Signal
Panzer Sturmpanzer IV
A nice view of a very early Stupa IV. Later models had an MG34 machine gun mounted for self defence and the first two wheels (later first four) were replaced with all steel version instead of the standard rubber tyred ones. This was done due to excessive wear on the wheels caused by the weight of the 150 mm gun and heavily armoured superstructure.
(unfortunately) Also my people
(regrettably) Also my war
