No, you have to use YOUR OWN name Herr General...not the Fuehrer's...

General Alfred Jodl, head of the German Army, signed the unconditional surrender of all German forces in Europe in Reims, France, sixty-three years ago on May 7 1945, effectively ending WWII in Europe.

The agreement was to take effect from the next day, May 8, at 23.01 hours,

Retro babe"...Oh, there you are...well, I'll do a few more paintings over at the hut and then we'll fry some fish and chill out for the rest of the day..."
Panzer Pzkpfw III, Ausf F
The sad remains of a panzer III, the blown out armourplate visible just below the turret would suggest an internal explosion caused by the tanks own ammunition.
(unfortunately) Also my people
(regrettably) Also my war
