Robert Crumb will be showing his work at the Danish pavillion for the 2011 Venice Biennale (page in Danish)

Yes, unbelievable! but Crumb's inclusion (along with Danish and international artists) was decided upon by the biennale's curator Katerina Gregos and probably has something to do with the freedom of speech issues raised by the Muhammad cartoons controversy

Newsflash: Crump supports the Muhammad drawings (in Danish)

Well, congrats to Crump for joining the winning team after all these years... who's next on the band wagon - Bob Dylan?...

Panzer: Sdkfz 251/3, Ausf C

The triangular three-colour tactical marking places the vehicle with the staff of a Panzer Division.

A Panzer is the main feature today, an amateur photo of rare tracks - the Sdkfz 140/1 Aufklärungspanzer 38 (t)

With 68 vehicles produced in 1943-44, only a handfull of photos exist of this recon panzer...and most of these were taken for documentation at the production plant or show damaged vehicles after capture.

With the emergence of E-bay and similar websites, treasures like this - a private photo taken by a Wehrmacht soldier, are available to collectors and WWII enthusiasts who sometimes bid from a collective pool of money, to make sure they are the highest bidders and get the most precious items.

This 9 X 6 cm original photo sold for 489 Euros.

Panzer: Pzkpfw IV, Ausf E.
End of the line for this Panzer, most likely knocked out in the Balkans or Soviet Russia (Ausf E production began in September 1940)

"Tessyleia 2.o" a promising project that apparently didn't evolve..

Yes...I'll admit it...I AM a sucker for stylish, dynamic, "Joe-pro", Marvel type comic book art! like that of Marc Borstel

Panzer: Sdkfz 263 (8 rad) Panzerfunkwagen
A nice photo showing a couple of the indispensable, but unsung, heroes of every modern war machine - the mechanic and maintenance crews.
