A fine collection of American realist art from the time of the Great depression can be seen at

Panzer: Pzkpfw IV, Ausf G
A group of Panzer IV's moving through a bleak Russian landscape during winter.
Note the front Panzer IV fitted with Ostketten, special wide tracks developped for the mud and snow of the eastern front. Judging from the protective covers on the maingun and MG 34 machinegun the photo was taken in a rear area far away from partisan and Red Army activity.
