Panzer: Volkswagen Typ 82 "Kübelwagen"
Not a panzer since it wasn't armoured, but it would be foolish not to include this popular vehicle in my "revue" of WWII German AFV's.
With more than 50,000 produced 1940-45, the "Kübel" missed out on the campaign in Poland but quickly became one of the most commonly seen vehicles at the front lines from Narvik to Tobruk, acting in every conceivable role that demanded powered transport, and doing this remarkably well considering it lacked the four-wheel drive capacity of its famous American cousin the Jeep.
