*****
Panzer: Panzerjäger 38 /t) Hetzer
A throughly destroyed Hetzer. Extreme damage like this was often the result of explosive charges set off by the crew before surrender. To render the vehicle useless to the enemy. Alternatively, a hit to the munitions carried inside a panzer could have the same disastrous results.

The works of Wolinski placed in the window of a Copenhagen book shop this Saturday.

I vaguely remember his cartoons when they were published in album form here in Denmark in the 1980s. The creation of his that really caught my eye was the collaboration with another prolific French artist George Pichard, the saga of  Paulette

Bon Voyage.

*****
Panzer: Jagdpanzer 38 (t) HETZER
This Hetzer har received the "disc" camouflage pattern at the factory. Seen on some Panzers in late 1944/ early 1945. The pattern seems to have been an experiment which quickly disappeared again.

A lone Panther and crew enjoying the pleasures of the Eastern front, probably Early 1944.
